The PFA goalkeeping Academy is a hard working professional environment where each of our registered keepers are kept on thier toes, literally. Jack Buckfield and Aaron Omand are our resident keeper coaches.
The mini soccer age groups train on a Thursday night at Sawyers Hall School, Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood from 5pm-6pm or Friday night at Warners Bridge Park, Southend on sea, Essex from 7pm-8pm. Our year 6 and older keepers work at Eastwoodbury Lane Centre on a Saturday morning from 9.30am-11.00am.
In the past we have had some excellent keepers that have gone on to sign at professional clubs. Coach Jack Buckfield has spent 9 successful years signed at Southend United and now plays for Billericay Town where several Football League clubs have sent scouts to watch him play. He has had a good trial period at Crystal Palace.
