Training sessions

PFA has been running training camps for players since 1998 and has been well received by most who have attended the sessions and has seen hundreds of players getting weekly coaching from good level coaching staff.

However in the past 12 months the number of players has dropped off due to a combination of the economic climate, other development centres springing up and professional clubs holding their own centres. It is normal though to have a lack of numbers over the summer months as players tend to return during September. We have over the past month or so tried to contact old members to ask if they will be returning but this now looks very unlikely. So it is with great regret that I must make the decision and say that we held our last training session on Friday 25th September.

I would like to thank all players and parents who have made an effort to support us over the years and also to the good coaching staff that have worked hard to ensure professional coaching sessions have gone ahead.

We have arranged a big trials day on 21st November in Dagenham for players, where scouts have been invited from all levels of football and you are welcome to attend these. Should you wish to, then please contact me on soccerstarspdc@blueyonder.co.uk or visit our web site at www.prosoccertrials.com for more info.

Regards

Tommo
